2005년 베이징에 개교한 Harrow Beijing 학교는 런던 해로우 스쿨의 450년 역사를 계승해 왔으며, 방콕, 홍콩, 선전, 하이커우, 일본 아피의 해로우 국제학교와 함께 해로우 해외 회원 연합을 결성하고 있습니다.  


영국 사립 학교를 모델로 하여 리더쉽을 중요시 하며 최고 수준의 국제 대학으로 진학 할 수 있도록 높은 학문적 기준과 성공적인 목표 달성을 위해 노력하고 있습니다. 북경의 광범위한 교과 과정 내에서 학생들에게 지식 습득의 기회를 부여하고 창조적인 사고, 상황에 대처하는 유연성, 도전 정신을 기를 수 있도록 하고 있습니다.

Facilities

The school has two purpose-built state-of-the-art campuses. The Main Campus is located in Hegezhuang Village, where in addition to the usual classroom facilities, there is a 2,000-sqm library, a large multi-purpose theatre, two ‘black box’drama areas and a music centre with a recording studio. The sports facilities include a 25-m swimming pool, a 2,220-sqm gymnasium for sports such as badminton, volleyball and basketball as well as a top-rope climbing wall. Outdoors here are tennis courts, as well as playing fields for football.

Leadership Activities

Our sports teams participate in regional, national and international competitions through the following organisations:

  • ISAC – International Schools Athletic Conference
  • ACAMIS – All China and Mongolia International Schools
  • FOBISIA – Federation of British International Schools in Asia

The sport department encourages our students to develop their leadership skills by providing them with opportunities to lead and support with House sports events, coaching sports teams, as well as refereeing when we are hosting sports fixtures and competitions. At Harrow Beijing we understand the importance of being physically active and the link it has to academic achievement.
